Job summary

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage MSK presentations.
• Request investigations and make appropriate referrals.
• Utilize full scope of practice, including prescribing and injection therapy if qualified.

Skills

Independent assessment and diagnosis of MSK presentations

Developing tailored self-management plans

Understanding of MSK triage pathways

Working within a GP-based MDT

Maintaining daily utilization records

Education

HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist

Completion of level 7 MSc learning

Qualified injection therapist or independent prescriber
