Job summary

A global leader in material handling equipment is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer based in the Bolton area. This hands-on role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues for forklifts, while ensuring preventative maintenance of the equipment. Candidates with vehicle technician or mechanical engineering backgrounds are ideal. A full UK driving license is mandatory, and experience with various plant equipment is highly desired. Qualifications

  • Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, especially as forklift technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance check-ups on a fleet of forklifts.
  • Forge strong relationships with customers while delivering exceptional service.
