A well-established manufacturing business in Wantage is seeking an experienced Interim Management / Financial Accountant to join their commercial finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, managing month-end processes, and supporting financial tasks. This position requires the ability to work independently. Immediate availability is necessary, and the role is office-based five days a week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting and month-end reporting.
• Strong technical ability with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage month-end close processes, including reporting and analysis.
• Support the wider finance function with ad hoc tasks.
