Overview

This part-time or full-time post provides an opportunity to contribute to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at London Northwest University Healthcare. The post holder will deliver a high standard of care to patients undergoing Oral and Maxillofacial surgical treatment. The post holder will assess patient care needs and implement and evaluate the programme of the care. The post holder will work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of care. This is a part-time permanent post working across Northwick Park Hospital and Ealing Hospital. The successful applicant will participate in diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients. The main role for the right candidate is to run oral surgery consultation clinics and minor operation sessions under local anaesthetic independently. There is a dedicated oral surgery department nurse and outpatient nurses who assist in the oral surgery clinics and minor operations. Further opportunities may be available to progress into operating independently for theatre sessions.
