Qualifications

Overview

Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Central & East Warehouse & Logistics

The Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistics and warehouse operations on board of the Service Operations Vessels and Jack-Up Vessels. We are supporting the Vestas Offshore Special Projects and Service Departments which install, service and maintain the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.

Responsibilities
  • Picking, issuing and receiving of materials and spare parts to and from teams of technicians
  • Ongoing communication and coordination with the Service organization and the teams around the supply with necessary tools, spare parts and equipment
  • Maintenance of stocks in the SAP ERP system
  • Ensuring material postings as well as conducting inventories
  • Ensuring order and cleanliness, as well as that the Work safety requirements are met
  • You coordinate the transport of goods and customs clearance during regular port calls
  • Management of PPE, hoists, testing tools and other devices which require periodic testing or calibrations
  • Act as appointed person for calibration on site
  • Request offers for local purchases and request creation of purchase orders
  • Proper disposal and waste handling on the vessel and offloading in port
  • Coordinating ad-hoc spare parts deliveries to the Wind farm
  • Support of the service site management with organizational tasks
Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship and/or degree from an education in warehouse-management or logistics
  • Warehouse experience from the Wind Industry will be beneficial
  • Full driving license
  • Experience for Customs clearance / declaration beneficial
  • Computer knowledge: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, ERP system (SAP/AX)
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Good office and site management skills
  • Good time management/planning skills
  • Adherence and compliance with local laws and regulations

Additional Information

This role will be a 14/14 rotation role, and you will be required to stay on the Offshore Jack-up Vessel during your rotation.

Candidates from United Kingdom, Poland and Denmark are also invited to apply as this role can be based there too.
