Overview

Oil&Gas / Offshore / Maritime / FPSO / Wind Renewables

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Analysis and Design: Perform detailed structural analyses for Oil&Gas assets using ANSYS or similar software.
  • Modelling and Simulations: Create 3D finite element models (FEM) for complex marine structures.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet relevant offshore codes and standards; Prepare documentation, calculations, and reports for client review and certification.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Project engineer naval architects, mechanical engineers, and installation leads. Attend client and project meetings to provide technical input and ensure project alignment.

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software, particularly ANSYS
  • Proficient with design codes such as DNV, ABS, API, AISC and Eurocode.
