Job description

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this Onsite/Hybrid Operations Coordinator role supports the Security Clearance, Fleet, and Facilities departments within Newton. The position requires working from the UK office in Loddon, Norfolk, for at least three days per week to deliver outstanding support.

Security Clearance

Having a Security Clearance is essential to support Newton’s projects of strategic national importance.

  • Process DBS applications and renewals to enable clearance.
  • Handle Security Clearance applications for new joiners and renewal for existing employees.
  • Coordinate with SC providers to keep clearances up‑to‑date.
  • Manage the Security Clearance inbox, serving as the first port of call for queries.
Fleet
  • Manage fleet inbox, handling driver queries, parking permits, and company letters.
  • Assist vehicle flow into and out of the fleet, coordinating with external suppliers and drivers.
  • Maintain records, reporting, and liaison with suppliers (e.g., Alphabet, FMG, Continuum, WebFleet, vehicle manufacturers).
Facilities
  • Support the Facilities Manager with day‑to‑day operations at the Kingston Bagpuize office.
  • Ensure office kitchens are stocked with drinks and snacks.
  • Act as the first point of call for Facilities ordering.
  • Respond to basic facilities faults and liaise with tradespeople.
  • Serve as Trained First Aider and Fire Warden.
