Overview

Office Manager opportunity now available within the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS). This is a temporary position initially for 6 months and will be based in the NIAS Head Quarters in Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Saintfield Road, Belfast.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00AM – 5.00PM with a pay rate of £15.53 per hour.

Responsibilities

The role within NIAS will be providing a comprehensive and efficient administrative and high standard business support to the Chair, Chief Executive and Board Secretary.

  • Manage all correspondence coming into the Chair and Chief Executive’s offices
  • Action all queries raised by external and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and develop an effective filing function, both manual and electronic
  • Assist in the timely planning and organisation of corporate events
  • Co-ordinate and draft responses, where appropriate, on behalf of the Chair and Chief Executive’s offices
What We Need From You
  • 5 GCSE’s grades A*-C including English and Maths
  • Possess a degree or equivalent level qualification
  • Administrative experience extending over at least 5 years to include 2 years’ experience (at Band 4 or equivalent)
  • Hold a current full driving license
