Are you a experienced Office Manager looking for a role within a school?

It is ADVANTAGEOUS that applicants have strong experience of being a Office Manager and be proficient on SIMS/ARBOR/BROMCOM. However, applicants with STRONG ADMINISTRATION experience in a similar sector will also be considered.

You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 8:00am & 4:30pm.

There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the school year and there may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school you work at, although this is not guaranteed.

As a Office Manager your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Leading, supporting and co-ordinating the work of the administrative team in the school
  • To provide administrative support for the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher
  • To process pupil admissions, exclusions and transfers
  • To provide cover for reception
  • To be the point of contact for the school

This role consists of a variety of advanced tasks requiring detailed knowledge and specialist skills such as creativity, dealing with queries where the outcome may not be straightforward, working within clearly defined rules and have shared responsibility for accurate handling and security of cash, cheques or financial resources.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS THAT WILL BE PROCESSED BY US BUT COME AT A COST OF 56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE).
