  • Exposure to HR or Accounts tasks is advantageous.
  • A genuine interest in supporting people and improving workplace efficiency.

To support continued growth, we are looking for an Office Administrator or Apprentice to join our expanding team.

Location: Chesterfield.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, 35 hours per week.
Salary: £13.7K - £25K (DOE & NMW Applicable to age. Apprentice rates apply in line with the National Minimum Wage.)
Working Model: In-Office

Role Overview

As an Office Administrator or Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll handle a mix of admin tasks, support HR and recruitment, assist with finance processes, and help maintain a positive, well‑organised office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration:

  • Act as the first point of contact for general office queries.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
  • Organise staff meetings, team events, and internal communications.
  • Support directors and managers with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.

HR & People Support:

  • Assist with recruitment tasks including posting job adverts, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support onboarding for new starters.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Take ownership of managing staff birthdays, work anniversaries, and team building activities.

Accounts & Finance Support:

  • Support the Accounts team with data entry and basic financial administration.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records for finance‑related documents.
Skills & Attributes
