Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in infrastructure is seeking an Office Administrator to manage commercial and logistical documentation for a street lighting maintenance contract. This full-time role requires proven administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and exceptional attention to detail. The position is office-based in Swavesey and offers a rate of £14.00 per hour with an immediate start until March 2026.

Qualifications

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally within construction, utilities, highways, or engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all incoming and outgoing construction documentation.
  • Processing purchase requisitions and orders for consumables.
  • Preparing and submitting invoices for processing.
  • Managing and updating reports related to plant and vehicle allocation.
  • Maintaining essential health and safety records.
  • Handling telephone queries from site managers, clients, and suppliers.
