A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor in North Shields. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists to assess and treat patients, supporting their rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. This role offers a salary between £24,937 and £26,598 per year pro rata and requires flexibility with 7-day working shifts.

We are seeking to recruit a competent and enthusiastic Technical Instructor to join our friendly, well-established Occupational Therapy Service based within Carepoint (hospital discharge team) at North Tyneside General Hospital. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapists, carrying out assessments and treatment sessions for hospital patients (that have initially been screened by the therapist), e.g. kitchen/washing and dressing assessments, to deliver/fit equipment in patients homes, as well as assisting with the supporting the pre-assessment screening of elective orthopaedic surgery patients. You may also be required to support in the delivery of rehabilitation of patients in local rehabilitation units.
7 Day working shifts covering an 8-8 service.
