About the Role

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you9ll play a vital role in helping young children learn, grow and feel safe in a stimulating and supportive environment. Working as part of a dedicated team, you9ll support play-based learning and help meet each child9s emotional and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines including play, learning activities, meals and personal care
• Create a warm, inclusive and safe environment for all children
• Support children9s individual learning and development needs
• Work closely with nursery practitioners, parents and carers
• Help set up and tidy away activities and maintain a clean, organised space

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children in an early years setting (preferred but not essential)
• Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 / 3 preferred)
• A warm, positive and patient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for early years education and child development
• A current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
