Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team in Horley. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a strong commitment to their holistic development. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and respected.
  • Assessing children\'s progress, identifying individual needs, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Establishing positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children\'s learning and development both at home and in the classroom.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children\'s progress, attendance, and behaviour, and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
