Nursery Teacher – Primary School in Lewisham

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Long-term, Full-time (5 days per week)

Pay: £206-£268 per day (M1-M6 Inner London, paid to scale)

About the Role

A welcoming and well-regarded Primary School in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from January 2026. This full-time role will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons
• Leading on assessments and observations
• Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community
• Holding parent/teacher meetings and maintaining strong communication with families
• Creating a positive, nurturing learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in Early Years is highly desirable, however all Primary and Nursery teaching experience will be considered
• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• A proactive, enthusiastic and nurturing approach

Pay & Benefits

Competitive daily rate £206-£268 per day, depending on experience
