Tinies are recruiting an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a growing EYFS team, in a full time role, all year round, specifically in a baby room for children age 6 months to 2 years.

The Early Years provision is part of a renowned Prep School, and is set within beautiful green space. Are you keen to make a difference and to go 'the extra mile' for the school and its pupils? The ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 or above in Early Years and have a strong Early Years background.

In your role you will :

  • Effectively deliver the EYFS, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of the children and families in our setting are met
  • Keep records of key children's development and learning
  • Support other staff members and engage positively in the staff team
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with Parents
  • Ensure the provision of a high quality environment that meets the needs of each individual child, while having an awareness of any individual circumstances for example family cultures, medical histories and learning needs.
  • Be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other duties where required.

Essential for all applicants :

  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • Experience working with babies and children between 0-4 years
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Policies and Procedures in line with school procedures, and KCSiE
  • Good knowledge and experience of providing excellent quality provision for babies and young children essential
  • Experience with Learning Journeys, Key Groups and working as part of a team.
  • Ability to write quality observations and reports using appropriate ICT skills
