Hours: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Reports to: Room Leader / Nursery Manager

Room: Babies or Pre-school

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our client nursery based in Maidstone. They are looking for a Practitioner to help in the Baby room or Preschool room. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care and education following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Plan and implement fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure all children's individual needs are met, supporting their emotional and physical wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress.
  • Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (ESSENTIAL).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and maintaining a safe environment.
  • A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
