Job description

Long Term Futures are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive primary school in the Thornton Heath area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity that could become a permanent position for the right person.

The school is well-regarded for its friendly atmosphere and brilliant facilities, which include an Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP). The role is a key part of the school's wrap-around care, with shifts running between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Nursery Teacher with daily routines and educational activities.

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.

  • Communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff.

  • Contributing to the positive and proactive nursery team.

We are also interested in speaking with experienced Room Leaders looking for their next challenge.

What we are looking for:

  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.

  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.

  • A genuine passion for working with young children.

  • Strong communication skills and a creative, patient nature.

Pay and Benefits

  • Daily Rate: 95- 115, depending on experience.
