Job description

Here at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Ladybird Nursery.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated Nursery Nurse to join the team on a permanent basis.

Although the post is full time, 5 days per week, (37.5 hours), we are happy to consider part time hours for the right candidate .

Ideally you will hold a recognized Level 3 qualification and have experience of working within the Early Foundation Stage as a key person.

Located in the grounds of the hospital, Ladybird Nursery is available to staff at the hospital as well as the public and cares for babies and young children under 5.

Support the Nursery Team Leaders in providing an environment that offers encouragement and praise for every child.

Develop positive relationships with the children, their parents and members of the nursery team.

You will support the Nursery Team Leaders to create and maintain a safe, warm, caring and stimulating environment that together with encouragement will ensure the development of each child.

Interact with the children in order to support, encourage and observe the children to promote independence and development to enable the child to progress
