Overview

Nursery Nurse/ Nursery Assistant

Seeking a CACHE, NVQ, BTEC Level 2 or 3 Qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse/ Nursery Assistant or someone with a BA in Early Years Education from the UK or overseas. QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or Montessori Teaching Qualification would also be desirable.

Salary and Terms

Starting salary: £29,000–£31,000 per annum (negotiable) + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays. Option to work either all year round or term-time only.

Job responsibilities

• Plan and implement creative and learning activities in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
• Play games with children and carry out observations of their development.
• Assist on trips to places of interest with children (nature and forest walks, theatre trips, etc.).
• Interact with parents and update them on the child’s progress.

Qualifications and requirements

• Qualified with CACHE, NVQ, BTEC Level 2 or 3, or a BA in Early Years Education (UK or overseas).
• QTS or Montessori Teaching Qualification is desirable.
