About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a well‑established, high‑quality nursery in Wantage. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is committed to delivering outstanding early years education and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of early years professionals
• Ensure compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
• Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, and staff well‑being
• Manage occupancy, budgets, and staffing levels effectively
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
• Support staff development through training, mentoring, and appraisals

About You

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable)
• Proven experience in a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• In‑depth knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
