Key Information

Location: Kindred Windmill, London, W9 2EH

Contract Type: Term-Time Only, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Length: Permanent

Salary: £16.50 - £17.00 per hour (£32,422.50 per annum full-time all year round equivalent)

What You’ll Need

Essential:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous leadership experience
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Have good time management, meeting deadlines
• Experience of leading and managing a team
• Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of the EYFS and OFSTED guidelines

Desirable:

• Paediatric First Aid
• Food Hygiene
• Mental Health First Aid
• Experience with Ofsted inspections

What You’ll Be Doing]

• As a Nursery Manager, you will:
• Lead the Deputy Manager, Third in Charge and Room Leaders to ensure the highest standards of Early Years care and education across the setting
• Maintain an organised, safe and stimulating nursery environment
• Keep accurate records and ensure procedures are followed throughout the nursery
• Help build and maintain a reputation as the setting of choice in the area for both children and employees
• Model and monitor best practice in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Suipport and inspire your team across the nursery
• Oversee the induction of new team members, welcoming them into the Kindred family
