Near Chertsey our clients very established Nursery are looking for a senior practitioner for a room based Deputy Manager role - initially a maternity cover post. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary c 39900 plus with great benefits onsite parking and on good transport links.

Requirements
- Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
- At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery
- Experience of a management role in leading and supporting a teams.
- Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
- A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- Form bonds with children and their families ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
- Team Player with excellent communication skills the ability to give and receive feedback and a positive proactive approach.
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment resources and experiences offered to children.
