As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children during the afternoon hours. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with children through play and educational activities while supporting their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Support in managing daily nursery routines and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Engage with children in play, encouraging their imagination and creativity.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety within the nursery.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and team members about children's progress and wellbeing.

This position offers a minimum of £13 per hour, with opportunities for professional development and training.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with young children is preferred.
  • A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for early years education.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare.
  • Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
  • First Aid and safeguarding training are advantageous but not required upon application.
