The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service. The Nurse Unit Manager Specialist Clinics LGH provides leadership and ensures the efficient and effective provision of care based on clinical standards and best practice principles.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees hospitals across the state, including Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. It provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services through more than 300 sites.

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that for twelve months from the date of publication this selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies.
Salary range: $126,036 to $132,932 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455-$105,995 is subject to progression to Grade 4. Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% may be available based on qualification type.
You’ll have access to salary packaging benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.
