A reproductive healthcare organization in Birmingham is seeking a Nurse / Midwife Practitioner to provide clinical care across a range of services, including termination of pregnancy and STI testing. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife with a passion for reproductive healthcare and excellent communication skills. This full-time role offers a salary of £38,219 - £44,625 per year, depending on experience.

Are you a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife who is passionate about reproductive healthcare?
We are looking for a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner to join the clinical team at our Birmingham Central unit working 37.5 hours per week, with occasional requirements to provide cover at our Dudley unit on an ad-hoc basis.
As a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner you will provide high quality clinical care to our clients across a range of BPAS reproductive healthcare services including termination of pregnancy, STI testing and treatment, contraception, and vasectomy. You will be involved in all stages of the client pathway from consultation through to treatment and will work in all areas of the unit including theatre and recovery. This role will involve providing treatment and clinical information to clients both in person and over the phone.
You will be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife with active NMC registration and PIN. You will have clinical practice experience of at least 12 months and have a keen interest in sexual health and reproductive healthcare. Clinical knowledge and experience of safeguarding and Fraser/Gillick competencies are essential for this role.
With excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills you will be adept at caring for clients in a compassionate and empathetic way. You will also be comfortable using IT and Microsoft Packages including Outlook, Word and Microsoft Teams.
