Introduction

The NRMa Analyst role is a regional role within the NRM Performance Hub and will be responsible for enabling data foundations for key NRM analytics tools. These NRM analytics tools will cover all five pillars of NRM – brand portfolio pricing, pack price architecture, active mix management, promotion management and trade investment management. The role will be working closely with commercial excellence teams in the markets as well as NRM analytics business owners on data requirements. The role requires high operational excellence, ensuring that data management adheres to established standards. The role will be responsible for ensuring the data is fully prepared and ready for timely refreshes, proactively identifying and resolving any data discrepancies or gaps. The role requires strong attention to details, problem solving skills and a commitment to delivering high quality data for smooth adoption of NRMa tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support data management for existing programs like Insights to Execution, more specifically, promotion analytics and NRMa blueprint.
  • Coordinate with identified sales teams in some local markets to identify promotion spend nuances and build an operational rhythm.
  • Be the bridge between local datasets and existing/future NRMa tools – collaborate with BU/market Data & BI Leads and Tech & Data teams, supporting escalation of data & reporting issues, change management communications and best practice sharing.
  • Maintain and support identified shipment and consumption datasets (syndicated etc), flowing into key NRMa tools.
  • Be the subject matter expert on various data layers, may involve cleansing, curation, mappings, and stewardship of datasets.
  • Advocate and drive best practice data handling and usage.
  • Supports global D&D teams as well as NRMa business owners master data management roll-out & in-market adoption, bridging BU/market and above-market data needs, surfacing process & systems requirements for robust & scalable data management.
  • Ability to explain deviations or root causes of data discrepancies.
  • Risk management Identify and mitigate potential risk/ challenges that may impact products success.
Skills / Experience

Proven data and analytics experience, strategic thinking, thought leadership, senior stakeholder management and execution capabilities.

In addition, experience of the following in a programme environment will be essential:

  • Adopting a strategic, proactive, challenging mindset, with focus on exceptional execution
  • Demonstrating the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence beyond direct area of responsibilities, navigating the organisation to ensure effective inter-team and functional workings.
  • Managing multiple initiatives running concurrently
  • Identifying and capturing risks, issues, and impediments in a timely manner, and ensuring that those identified are being managed proactively.
  • Communicating clearly and concisely cross-functionally, with the ability to engage both with Business, Data and Tech teams.
  • Holding others to account
  • Takes accountability for delivering results and be bold in moving things forward.
  • Goes beyond to solve problems. Takes accountability to deliver our commitments. Understand drivers and the impact of operational decisions and propose the required action plans to deliver the program’s objective.
  • Identify risks early, takes informed risks or bring action plans to mitigate.
  • Bring opportunities forward for discussion, pushing the boundaries and challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent data and analytical experience are essential and working on commercial, commercial data and reporting would be advantageous.
  • Excellent relationship management, strong influencing, and communication skills with all levels of the organization including senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and managing complexity.
  • Track record in delivering business impact.
  • Successful Project management delivery
The following experience is also preferred
  • Customer sales / commercial team experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on complex data project / initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL and Alteryx or other data transformation tools
  • Experience with Power
  • Experience with consumption data analysis (Nielsen and/or Circana)
  • Experience with financial data and promotional analysis
  • Experience with analysing SAP data, including Trade Spend Management module
