Solicitor (NQ) – Conveyancing / Private Client
Location: Belfast City Centre

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a well established Belfast City Centre law firm, working across both Conveyancing and Private Client matters. This role offers the chance to build your career within a supportive team environment, gaining exposure to residential and commercial property transactions alongside wills, probate, and estate administration work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of residential and/or commercial property transactions
  • Assist with wills, probate, and estate administration matters
  • Support senior solicitors with file progression
  • Draft and review contracts, leases, wills, enduring powers of attorney, and estate accounts
  • Conduct title checks and pre-contract enquiries
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, HMRC, executors, and beneficiaries
  • Attend client meetings, taking instructions with sensitivity and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate time recording, billing, and digital file management
  • Provide ad hoc support to the wider team
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Newly Qualified Solicitor (up to 2 years PQE)
  • Experience in conveyancing and/or private client work
  • Strong client care skills and effective communication style
  • Well organised, methodical, and detail focused
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience using a legal CMS and Microsoft Office
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
