A respected manufacturing firm is seeking a Junior Project Engineer in Droitwich. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant engineering qualification and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC and tooling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD data.
• Experience in tooling and process development projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• Review CAD data and technical drawings for efficient manufacturing.
• Liaise with toolmakers and oversee tooling builds.

Skills

Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, tooling, moulding)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Self-motivated with continuous improvement mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Basic CAD software knowledge

Education

HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
