Perfect Household Staff is seeking experienced, qualified Norland Nannies to register with our agency. Our clients regularly request Norland-trained professionals to provide high-level care for children across a range of ages, from newborn through school age. We are therefore expanding our pool of Norland-trained candidates who demonstrate exceptional childcare knowledge, professionalism, and a commitment to best practice within the private household sector.

We are looking for Norland Nannies with proven experience supporting children at various developmental stages. This includes newborn and infant care (where applicable), structured routines for toddlers, age-appropriate educational and developmental activities, and the ability to foster independence, social confidence, and emotional wellbeing in older children.

Candidates should be well-versed in child development, behaviour management, early years frameworks, and the delivery of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment within a private household.

Key Skills and Responsibilities
  • Providing attentive, developmentally informed care for children ranging from newborns to school-age.
  • Supporting feeding routines, including bottle preparation and breastfeeding assistance where relevant.
  • Establishing and maintaining structured daily routines, including sleep schedules tailored to each child’s age.
  • Monitoring and promoting children’s physical, emotional, and developmental wellbeing.
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities such as sensory play, early learning tasks, motor‑skills development, literacy and numeracy preparation, and age‑appropriate educational enrichment.
  • Organising and accompanying children to classes, outings, and social activities.
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and maintaining well‑organised nursery and play areas.
  • Tracking developmental progress and communicating effectively with parents to ensure consistency of care.
  • Supporting transitions, such as weaning, potty training, and early learning milestones.
  • Managing light nursery‑related duties, including children’s laundry, wardrobe organisation, and care of equipment.
