Overview

Our GB Non-Food Department is now hiring a Non-Food Senior Consultant to join the Team. The infamous variety of the "Middle of Lidl" is one of the main reasons that our customers love to keep coming back week on week, and no week is ever the same! You will be responsible for the management of our Non-Food product portfolio, which has key strategic importance to the success of the Lidl GB business. You will need to have excellent analytical skills and a positive mindset in order to consistently achieve results within a fast-paced environment. You would need to promote a strong team culture and maintain a highly collaborative working style with stakeholders throughout the business. What you'll do
  • Non‑Food yearly, monthly and weekly KPI planning, tracking, prognosing and reporting at Director and Board Director Levels
  • Owning the KPIs and working with internal stakeholders to set tactics and goals in order to achieve them
  • Key stakeholder in roll out of the Non‑Food worlds
  • Weekly sales analysis, review and presentation
  • Ongoing collaboration with stakeholders including supply chain, logistics, merchandising and sales
  • Collaboration with Controlling Business Partners to ensure integrity, oversight and accuracy of Non‑Food commercial reports
  • Working with international stakeholders, in English and German to ensure excellent cooperation and customer focussed mindset
  • Management of stock holding including forecasting, planning, tracking and reporting
  • Stock movement management working with NF warehouse, Supply Chain and INT Process review and improvements
Key Qualifications
  • Experience of working within a Non‑Food Team (in GB or in another country), or in a role adjacent to the Non‑Food Team is highly desirable
  • Fluency in German is not essential but desirable
  • Intermediate Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Initiative and independent drive to grow the non food category through commercial and strategic thinking
  • The ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
  • A confident and resilient approach capable of working closely with the highest levels of the business
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse complex data
  • Adaptable in the face of ever‑changing market conditions and expectations
  • Strong and confident communicator
  • Excellent people skills with a commitment to maintaining an established and positive team culture
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: £57,200

  • £79,200 per annum | 35 days' holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme
