Organisation British Judo Association Salary Voluntary Location British Judo National Training Centre, Walsall Contract type Volunteer (Part time) Closing date 6 February 2026 Job Description We are seeking to appoint a Non-Executive Director to join our Board and help shape the future of judo across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed British Judo club member to contribute at Board level during a pivotal period for the organisation, as we focus on international success, membership growth, and delivering an inclusive, sustainable sport that has a positive impact in communities across the UK.

Role
  • Help oversee the health, well‑being and strategic direction of British Judo
  • Provide independent judgement and constructive challenge at Board level
  • Contribute your skills, experience and insight to support effective governance
  • Act as an ambassador for British Judo, representing the organisation with members and external stakeholders

Prior Board‑level experience is not required. We are looking for individuals who bring strategic thinking, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to British Judo’s values.
