Nobu Restaurant Host

Crafting exceptional welcomes and seamless dining experiences

As a Nobu Restaurant Host at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. With a focus on precision warmth and Nobu’s signature hospitality you’ll manage reservations coordinate seating and ensure every guest feels valued from arrival to departure.

You will

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Review reservations for each shift noting VIP and high‑profile guests
• Ensure waiter notes and table plans are accurate and updated throughout service
• Prepare and distribute floor plans after briefings to maintain clarity and consistency
• Check table setups and ensure all areas meet Nobu standards
• Provide attentive friendly and personalised service to every guest
• Support and train new team members fostering a collaborative environment
• Maintain entrance and lobby presentation to reflect Nobu’s luxury standards
• Attend team briefings and contribute ideas for service improvement
• Liaise effectively with all departments to ensure smooth operations
• Demonstrate a proactive positive approach to work and guest care
• Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family Crafted Smile and Kokoro
• Perform any other duties as required
