GLG Vets is proud to be working with a renowned veterinary practice in Hendon, Greater London, to help find an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. If you're passionate about providing top-tier care for animals and thrive in a night-time environment, we would love to hear from you.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency care and treatment to pets throughout the night, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and treatments for various medical and surgical cases.
  • Manage hospitalised patients overnight and oversee their treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the daytime team to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Support and mentor junior veterinary staff and nurses.
Key Requirements
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experience in emergency and critical care (ECC) or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to support and mentor other staff members.
  • Private Medical Insurance from day one.
