Job summary

Qualifications

Total Assist are looking for care assistants for an immediate start in the Durham area. This is a night shift role, based on a one to one support work at a client's home. 8pm-8am, 3x a week.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the client with support during the night if needed and promoting their independence.
  • Supporting therapeutic interventions as guided by clinical staff.
  • Monitoring and documenting patients progress and well-being.
  • Building trusting relationships to foster a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborating with nurses, psychologists, and other professionals to deliver tailored care plans.
Qualifications
  • An in date DBS.
  • At least 6 Months UK work experience within care.
  • PMVA certificate or experience in a mental health setting.
  • Medication handling experience.
  • Drivers licence and car highly advantageous.
