A leading company in the Rail industry is seeking a Night Safety Inspector to enhance its Health and Safety environment. Candidates should have significant experience in Rail HS&E, and be prepared to work night hours from 22:00 to 06:00. Essential qualifications include NEBOSH certification and experience with Network Rail and LUL.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with Network Rail and LUL.
  • In-depth knowledge of Rail H&S&E requirements.
  • Experience in RISQS auditing and HS&E management.

Night Safety Inspector Rail

Salary: £45k-£55k

Location: London

Are you passionate about Health and Safety?

Do you have a proven track record in developing a strong Health and Safety Environment?

We are looking for an exceptional SHEQ Manager with solid Rail experience to become an integral and vital part of the business, covering hours from 22:00 to 06:00, with flexibility to meet role requirements and workload.

Essential:
  • 3-5 years experience with Network Rail and LUL
  • NEBOSH certificated
  • In-depth knowledge of Rail HS&E requirements
  • Experience in RISQS auditing and management
  • Experience leading HS&E within Rail construction environments
  • Experience leading HS&E in major multi-discipline construction projects
  • Experience in accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Thorough knowledge of H&S statutory legislation and implementation
  • IIRCA certified internal auditor (HS&E)
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, clients, stakeholders, and supply chain
  • Competent in producing reports
  • Knowledge of the CDM regulation
  • Ability to lead HS&E teams in challenging environments
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to deliver HS&E training to employees and subcontractors
  • Computer literacy
