Overview

Night Porter, Hotel du Vin

Location: Cheltenham | Type of Contract: Permanent | Rate of Pay: £12.75 / 24 Hours per week

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise and manage guest expectations to ensure brand standards are maintained.
• Take responsibility for the Food & Beverage Department of the hotel during the night.
• Welcome guests to the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Keep public areas immaculate and clean public areas; prepare meeting and event spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage, deal with enquiries, and carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
• Be organized and an excellent communicator.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience of night shift work is essential.

Additional Details

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and offer flexibility with shifts and days. Shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview.
