Job summary

Home Group Limited in Shotton Colliery is seeking a Housing Concierge to support vulnerable customers, keep buildings safe, and foster a welcoming community. The role involves night shifts, lone working, CCTV monitoring, and prompt incident response, with training and team meetings as needed.

You’ll work 4 night shifts from 21:15–07:45, followed by 4 nights off, with weekends and bank holidays included. Salary £26,300 per year plus benefits such as Health Cash Plan and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally
• Calm under pressure with great communication skills
• Good judgement and clear communication
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to incidents

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
• Greet customers and visitors, arrange repairs or cleaning as needed
• Be the first line of support for customers when others aren’t available
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly and fairly
• Work with colleagues to manage anti-social behaviour
