Job summary

Home Group in Exeter is looking for a dedicated night worker to help keep our buildings safe and welcoming for residents and visitors. You will monitor CCTV, assist with repairs, greet customers, and respond calmly to incidents.

You’ll work three 12.5-hour night shifts weekly, with training sessions by day. DBS check is paid for, and benefits include a health cash plan, a generous pension, and extensive discounts.

Qualifications

• Calm under pressure with great communication skills
• Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally
• Good judgement and clear communication
• You recognise when things are about to go wrong and are confident intervening in a sensitive way.

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning
• The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network aren’t around to help!
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour
