We are looking for a Night Auditor/Receptionist to join our amazing team. The suitable applicant will be responsible for all functions pertaining to night audit, assuming responsibility for all hotel systems and software applications balancing all outlets to Fidelio and resolving discrepancies. You must also have a UK drivers license.

Job Outline
  • Be aware of all night functions within the hotel and ensure that the full night audit function is carried out according to procedures and full audit documentation is completed and forwarded to the Accounts Department.
  • Ensure all newspaper, video and sundry items are correctly charged and balanced, check and acknowledge by signature a cash float and ensure such monies are maintained in safe condition.
  • Accurately record all room statistics and Food & Beverage statistics.
  • Ensure management rooms balances are correct and ledgered within 24 hours of completion of event. No old balances to be left uninvestigated and actioned.
  • Check daily ledger accounts for correctness against backup correspondence resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ensure that bar stocks are maintained at required levels and administered correctly.
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel are maintained in a secure condition with regular security checks carried out according to company policies.
  • Investigate all guest complaints and deal with them accordingly ensuring comprehensive reporting is done for subsequent follow up by Guest Relations.
