Overview

Night care Assistant: Hours of work 10pm - 7am.

Summary of duties
  • Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
  • Security checks and wellbeing night checks.
  • Allocated tasks
  • Contributing to residents’ care plans, with a demonstrable understanding of holistic care
  • Building effective relationships with relatives and next of kin in order to fully support the delivery of high-quality care to residents
Skills required

Ideally you will have previous experience working in a care / care home environment and an understanding of dementia and person centered care. However, if you`re new to the care sector mandatory training and the care certificate will be provided, but above all, a positive and can-do attitude is essential.
