What you will do
  • Assess and plan patients\' nutritional needs, creating individual care plans.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nutrition support.
  • Educate and advise patients and their families on dietary plans.
  • Participate in ward rounds and case conferences as part of the patient care process.
  • Review and manage parenteral and enteral feeding regimes, ensuring competence with feeding tubes.
  • Supervise and mentor dietetic students, enhancing their learning and practical experience.
Requirements of the Dietitian
  • Recent UK experience working as a Dietitian.
  • Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK.
  • Minimum of one year practising as a Dietitian.
  • Demonstrable experience in an MDT setting.
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient nutrition support, including enteral feeding.
  • Parenteral nutrition trained.
  • Skilled in supervising students.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
