Job description

The team has a focus on general media relations, corporate PR work and digital marketing work. Experience in Canva/creating graphics/social media is preferable. Your role will be varied and give you an in-depth introduction to the world of comms, PR and digital marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Research, media data‑based management and support client teams on accounts.
  • Initial drafts of reports on activity and liaison with the media on forward features, special reports and surveys.
  • Pitching to media to secure opportunities for positive coverage.
  • Build trust with clients through regular meetings.
  • Draft long and short form content, from opinion articles and blogs to social media posts.
  • Support SEO work for individual clients.
  • Research and develop proposals to potential new clients.
  • Run social media monitoring, manage client Twitter feeds, LinkedIn profiles and groups.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, English, History, Communications/Media or Politics.
  • Relevant degree from a Russell Group university.
  • Sound understanding of financial and professional services industries.
  • Excellent writing skills across all media platforms.
  • Understanding of media, social and economic trends and their impact on client business.
  • Integrity, ambition, and a proactive team‑orientated approach.
  • Desire to support the wider team with account activity.
  • Previous experience in business, finance or tech is desirable.

Contract type: Permanent, Part‑Time / Flexible Hours. Location: UK flexible. Company is a Leisure & Tourism Travel Agent & Consultant with 1‑10 employees.
