Network Change Management

• Manage and execute firewall, VPN, and DNS security change requests through ServiceNow.
• Verify rule requests against security policies, standards, and design principles.
• Implement and document firewall rules in enterprise and data centre environments.
• Coordinate with requestors, network engineers, and project teams to minimise disruption.
• Monitor and report change SLAs and dependencies.

Operational Support

• Provide day-to-day support for firewall infrastructure and associated tooling (e.g., Cisco ASA/FTD, or equivalent).
• Conduct troubleshooting and validation testing after changes are made.
• Identify and address misconfigurations for optimal security and business enablement.
• Develop knowledge base articles, process maps, and technical documentation.

Governance and Continuous Improvement

• Identify and report potential risks or vulnerabilities related to network security configurations.
• Collaborate on automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, audits, and operational procedures.
• Participate in daily huddles and provide peer review for change management work.
