A leading global consulting firm is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team in Greater London. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and configuring network equipment, conducting infrastructure surveys, and ensuring compliance with strict change management processes. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of IP and Ethernet, experience with Cisco systems, and an understanding of network security. This position offers a hybrid working environment, allowing flexible working arrangements.

We work on a range of exciting projects for many different clients across all sectors. The role of the Network Engineer operates within the Edge capability, focusing on building, migrating, and testing modern network services and solutions.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

A good working knowledge of IP, Ethernet, routing and switching within LAN/WAN/Data Centre/Public Cloud environments is essential. Practical and demonstrable experience of implementing Cisco ACI would be beneficial.
Experience with key vendors, primarily Cisco (IOS, NX-OS, ACI), F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM), Palo Alto, Fortigate, Checkpoint, Juniper, Azure, Amazon and Google Cloud plus other vendor experience is welcome and beneficial.
