A leading IT managed service provider in the UK is looking for a Network Design Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable network solutions. The role includes producing design documentation and providing technical support. Candidates should have strong networking fundamentals and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper devices. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing and implementing secure, scalable network solutions
  • Producing design documentation (HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, support collateral)
  • Providing configuration, troubleshooting, and technical support
  • Supporting project lifecycles from requirements to design to deployment to OAIS
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals LAN, WAN, VPNs, IPSec, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper devices (switching, routing, firewalls)
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS-ENT (preferred, but not essential if you have equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrable design experience (HLDs/LLDs, diagrams, support documentation)
  • Solid troubleshooting and defect resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders

Please note that given the sector these roles are subject to high level security clearance. Candidates must be eligible and willing to undertake if not currently carrying these security clearances.
