Qualifications

  • Strong background in capital markets or insolvency law, ideally with specific close-out netting and collateral enforceability experience.
  • Proven ability to interpret and analyse complex legal agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent drafting skills with a high level of precision and clarity.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams spanning legal, operational, regulatory and technological domains.
  • Proactive approach, strong work ethic and desire to drive forward legal-innovation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and preparing summaries of legal opinions on netting and enforceability.
  • Advising on master netting agreements and regulatory capital obligations.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to implement policies on capital, liquidity, and netting.
  • Promoting awareness of regulatory and accounting frameworks.
  • Contributing strategic input into smart legal-opinion initiatives.
