Overview

.NET Developer, Optimizely, CMS – Colchester, Essex

(Tech stack: .NET, CMS, Optimizely, Sitecore, Umbraco, .NET 9, C#, Angular, Agile, Full Stack Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Develop complex enterprise .NET applications in collaboration with Microsoft consultants and the development team.
• Work on greenfield .NET projects and contribute to architectural design and code quality.
• Utilise CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Umbraco (and other CMS options as listed) as part of application development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Adopt Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and implement best practices in TDD/BDD where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with .NET, .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC, C# and Azure SQL.
• Knowledge of a Content Management System (CMS) such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Umbraco, Alterian, Immediacy, Ektron, Kentico, Sitefinity or DotNetNuke.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, microservices, databases, cloud platforms).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
