Neighbourhood Manager - Part Time Contract (17.5 hours per week)

We are currently seeking a Neighbourhood Manager for a potential temp-to-perm, part-time contract with a leading housing association in Oxford.

About the Role

The Neighbourhood Manager will oversee a customer patch of approximately 350 residents, ensuring estate standards are maintained, addressing tenancy issues, and fostering strong community relationships. The role is initially for four weeks, with a flexible schedule of 17.5 hours per week, ideally excluding Fridays. You will carry out estate inspections, respond to tenancy concerns, and coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to provide a high standard of housing management.

Candidate Responsibilities
  • Manage a community of around 350 residents, maintaining estate standards.
  • Conduct estate and property inspections regularly.
  • Manage tenancy issues including safeguarding, anti‑social behaviour, noise complaints, and neighbour disputes.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, offering tailored support where needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent housing services.
  • Complete home visits and handle safeguarding cases.
  • Address safety and maintenance issues proactively.
Required Skills
  • Previous experience in housing or neighbourhood management.
  • Knowledge of tenancy management, estate issues, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working with residents with complex needs.
  • Problem‑solving abilities and IT literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Must hold a Standard DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
