Being warm, fun, kind, and engaging is essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm/4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (20 to 25 hours per week). Additional support from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 10:00 am approximately one week per month (when husband is travelling). Opportunity to increase hours. Ad‑hoc babysitting available if desired.

Duties include
  • Provide full care duties for both children, including engaging them in activities and supervising their daily routines such as homework, learning, play, and bath/bedtime routines.
  • Collaborate closely with the parents to ensure the children’s overall well‑being, development, and happiness.
  • Occasionally collect one child from school and safely transport them home as required.
  • Plan and prepare healthy, nutritious meals for the children and the family.
  • Assist with laundry and regular bed changes for the family.
  • Carry out light housework and general tidying as needed (a weekly housekeeper is employed).
  • Run household errands when required.
  • Demonstrate experience caring for children from newborn to age 6, with the ability to build a strong and trusting relationship with the children and family.
  • Be warm, kind, fun, and engaging, while also proactive, flexible, and able to follow instructions or work on own initiative.
